Yo! Jia you for you all de OP.
Okays. I dunno if you all remembered, but during my election speech, i did promise you all part time job opportunities. So here they are! Well, i dont guarantee that you all will be employed. But these web sites are where i go to seek for jobs. They are mostly posted by employment agencies, which means that you would have to go for 2interviews. One by the agency, one by the employer. The agency will also take up about 10% of your monthly income as a fee. The good point is, they will keep a further look-out for your future employment needs.

MISE
Okays. Not bad not bad! Got talent! The facil team from Smart Money then only trained once and they went ahead with the second event liao. MISE, but i dunno whats the full form, i never went for this event. =p

But dont have me so very bored right? HAHAS! Who is that by the way? It looks like Shan to me...
The team met up at 8.50 am to go to the PSB Academy. This time they dont have the log team to help them carry tables and stuff, so sadly have to do it themselves with Mr. Donnie. According to a mysterious correspondence, a guy called Ken asked them to chill. ( Why? Very hot there meh? Hahas! I predict that your faces now look like this : -.-!! )
As usual, the participants arrived gradually, except that their age now increased by a lot compared to the Smart Money participants. From the less formal dressed poly students to the i-am-an-executive look university students, our dear facils get their choice of fishies. The participants were then split into 2 groups, one went for a business pitching while the other stayed for the game first. Mr. Donnie then went on to talk about public speaking, which, according to the mysterious person again, was quite useful for PW. So people worried about Oral Ppt, you know who to bug from now on. Hahas! Mr Donnie also kindly offered his expertise on business building to our Biz Club. Thank you very much! * Bernadet bows *

Heard that the facils were quite worried for facilitating the older fishies at first. Dont worry! You all dont have the name tags on then, they cannot complain one. Hahas! Just joking. I believed that you all did as well as for the Smart Money event. I teach one de ma. Hahas! :D

Whaa. Very rare got your photo lei, Tommy. Must take one nice nice one then i put on the blog skin. Then whole exco full mah.

Mr Donnie came around to look. Dont worry! I train one got quality guarantee de! Heex.
Lunch up next! Lets take a small peep...
Facilitation for the second group is after lunch. The university students this time round. Heard that they were quite sian at the beginning, then got involved only after they have more cash. Then became enthusiastic about their jobs. Why, though? I cant imagine why people can get excited being nurses... Especially if you are on night shift alone, look around you... Maybe got a lot of "people" accompany you wo... Okays. Back to topic! The mysterious correspondence's group members situation is that: the rich got richer, poor got poorer. One even retired. Whao! I never let my group people retire one. Cause i dunno how to facilitate that one... =p
See? Tell you my people are TALENTED de! Heex.

Hmm.. Did you just got a baby? I mean in the game hor!! Later i go out kena bashed up... Must say properly..
Learning points at the end of the event :
1. You need a concrete plan and capital to start a business. ( HUh... Must use concrete ah? Marble can? Higher class. Hahs.)
2. Its good to have help like Mr Donnie around. =)
Random photos are served now.

Heh. Beverly looks so cute sia!

Yeah!
Oh.. I just saw who the mysterious contributor in the email is. Anyone wanna guess? Wrong no punishment. Correct also no prize lah. Tag yor guesses.

Exoro
Exoro is the Latin word for success. In June 2008, Nanyang sent 4 teams of 3 people each onto the battlefield, seeking to be masters of success. Modern battles are no longer fought with brawn, but instead, a combination of wit, successful communications and collaboration. Shall we, my guest, proceed on now with the conquest?

No single battle should be fought without any preparations make. Hence, a wise leader of a time, Bernadet Sutanto, leads her army through a series of concrete jungle before finally reaching the Metropolitan YMCA located at Stevens Road for a training session. Very fortunately, the trainers are the people who has created this battlefield from the NUS Entreprenuership Society . Who else can know more about the game than them? And hence, the 4 teams sat down and have their first contact with a game that they have never heard before that day.
Soon enough, it was time for the real thing. Equipped with the knowledge gained from before, they set off confidently towards the 3 days battle. Each of them in the team was given a choice of responsibility. The Chief Technological Officer determines the amount of products the team, or should i say, the company of 3 owns. He also determines if the product should be developed or even to be patented, for additional benefits such as gaining half of each sellers' revenue should they happen to sell the same colour product that the team has patented. The Chief Marketing Officer generate demand by investing in marketing policies for their companies' product. Lastly, the Chief Executive Officer sells the products to the consumers, which may sometimes lead to a price competition.
In the following hours, the teams are all situated in different rooms with different fates awaiting. Opponents from other institutes eye each other with caution. Hardly anyone ventured out of their own tiny group. Not long after, the trainers came in and brief the warriors about the conditions for victory. Faced with temptations and choices, few can withstand the challenge...

Each of these cards represent a product. The numbers on it range from 1 to 15, representing the selling price of the product. Despite the varying prices, the cost of obtaining the product is the same for all cards. While it is temptng to buy the higher end numbers, one must keep in mind that consumers will choose the cheaper product when faced with too many choices. So what card should the CTO buy for their company in order to benefit his company?

Somewhere through the game, many start to realise that no battle could be fought alone, especially when each team have different attributes that benefits them. Hence, many collaborations started on.

Some of the physical attributes include laptops and calculators. On the last day of the competition, each team was given a choice of different attributes including free warehouse to store the products or the ability to influence consumers' demand.

Nanyang, Meridian and the team from Indonesia

After 8 rounds of intensive plannign and disccusions, the game ended. Each of the team member gained recognition from the organisers and a goodie bag. Thanks!

Each of the team took photos with each other to eternally preserve this memory.

Finally, the teams proceeded to the hall for the crowning.

Other than the Master of Exoro award, there are various small compeitions for the different teams to join. 1 of them being the most creative team name award.
Our teacher also came to support us on the final day.

Our warriors' journey finally ended after 3 days. The Nanyang team returned home with new knowledge, new friends and more experienced. We extend our graditute to the organisers for inviting us over. Thank you very much.
